
POLICIES
~ Rabbits are sold on a first come,
first served basis. They may be held (reserved) as early as 2 weeks of
age, but they may not be sold until 8 weeks of age.
~ Holds for more than two weeks must
be paid for in full.
~ We ask for a 50% NON REFUNDABLE
Deposit when holding/reserving a rabbit(s) for any period of time. If you
change your mind, and decide not to purchase the rabbit(s) that is/are being
held for you, you WILL NOT get your deposit back. The ONLY time that a
deposit will be refunded is if we decide not to sell the rabbit(s)... in that
case, and that case only, will your money will be refunded.
~ If a rabbit(s) is reserved for
pick up at a show, it must be picked up by noon.
~ If the rabbit(s) are not picked up
by noon than we reserve the right to sell the rabbit(s) to other interested
parties.
~ As rabbits are living creatures, we
reserve the right to back out of a sale at any time, for any reason.
~ All rabbits are sold in good
health and temperament. We do not guarantee the health of rabbit once it
leaves our rabbitry, as we certainly cannot control its exposure elsewhere.
~ Rabbits are priced for brood, pet
and/or show quality at the time of sale. Pedigreed rabbits are priced
accordingly.
~ We will not guarantee quality or
success in breeding, nor will we guarantee show success. If we sell a rabbit as
brood quality it is because it has proven for us, we cannot guarantee breeding
success once a rabbit leaves our rabbitry. If we sell a rabbit as show
quality it is because we feel that the animal has the potential to do well at
show, but we cannot control the judge and his/her opinions.
~ We will gladly take back rabbits
and rehome them if you find that you can no longer care for them, the only
exception being a sick rabbit. We will not take that chance in harming our herd
with the threat of a diseased or sick animal. No 'outside' rabbits are allowed
at our rabbitry, without our permission, for this reason. Any rabbits
returned for rehoming will not be refunded any monies.
~
Stud service will be considered on
a rabbit by rabbit basis and, of course, only healthy does will be
considered. We require a stud service fee or pick of the litter
as agreed upon by both parties prior to stud service rendered.
~ Our rabbitry is a closed rabbitry (not open to the public for insurance purposes) and we will schedule an appointment time that meets both of our needs, in a public location. No exceptions. Email us with 'rabbits' in the
subject line, along with your inquiry, as well as a telephone number where we
can reach you in order to schedule an appointment. Our email address

~ At this time, we do not ship our
rabbits. Driving
a reasonable distance
for a meeting point will be considered, a fee for gas reimbursement to
us will
be expected at the time of delivery. Transportation to New
England rabbit shows can sometimes be offered... there is a fee for
transport.
~ We do apologize if our policies
seem a little harsh, as we certainly do not want to offend anyone, but
it is what it is. We want what is in the best
interest of the rabbit(s), as well as to keep the integrity of our rabbitry's good reputation.
~
All payments are to be made through PayPal or as CASH only. We do not accept
personal checks, or credit cards.
~ As of April 1, 2008 we are now accepting funds through PayPal... there is a $3 fee per transaction for this service.
