MINI REX BUCKS
Lily's Brewski
BEW
Well... whoever said that breeding a rex furred rabbit into a regular furred line is a big mistake, just hasn't met Brewski. An F-3 Hybrid (his sire is Micro Chip) who is consistently doing well on the show table... he has earned 4 G.C. legs thus far and still has a long show career ahead of him... no, we can't ever officially Grand him but his genetics will speak for him nonetheless. Recently bred to Berlena's Sapphires and the offspring looked great!
Lily's Coby4
Blue
Coby is a tiny Sr. Buck now... still under 3 lbs. We will use him in our Micro Rex program for sure.
LaFoe's Cotton
Broken Blue Steel (hidden)
The
rabbit that started it all! Our very first Mini Rex. Once
we felt that incredible fur, we knew we had to have a Mini Rex
rabbit. We searched out a local breeder, waited for a planned
breeding, and picked out our boy at two weeks old. The youngest
member of our family was into cows at the time and was collecting
anything that had to do with cows... well... when he saw the tiny
little two week old kit, and its Holstein like color pattern, he just
had to have him. He named him too. When we first brought
our little buck home, he exclaimed, "He feels just like cotton!"
and the name stuck. We will forever be grateful to Briana and Marisa for our start with this wonderful breed.
Tranquility's Goetze's
Broken Chocolate
When
we sold Goetze's parent rabbits to a local breeder, we asked that they
please let us know when they had their first litter... and asked for
first dibs at buying back a kit or two. Well... we are so happy
with the pairing of those rabbits and very happy with the short ears,
nice head, and cobby body that Goetze's acquired from his
parents.
Thanks again to Sandra, Peter, Alexis and Ryan for entrusting us with
little Goetze's... the color of a caramel creme Bulls-eyes. Bred
to Sukkla, he sired some very nice looking Chocolate Harlequins... amoung
other colors.

Lily's Marlin
Sable Point
We really don't have the cage space to keep another buck... but... for now...
Berlena's Mavi
BEW
1 G.C. leg
What
an awesome boy! So sweet and friendly! Earned his first leg as a one year old Senior! Super fur on this guy!
Lily's Rook
Smoke Pearl
Finally!! We have been trying to get the ever illusive Smoke Pearl for years now... of course other breeders that we have sold breeding pairs to have gotten them from our stock... go figure. This little Buck is looking to be a real small guy. We will plan on breeding him to a couple of Smoke Pearl sister Does in a few months (these are from two of our original rabbits that we sold to another breeder... of course. LOL)
Lily's Saki ~ FOR SALE ~
BEW Proven Sr. Stud
Registered Grand Champion (pending paperwork)
8-2-08 Midnight Madness Topsfield, MA ~ 1 G.C. leg
8-23-08 YCRBA Acton show ~ 1 G.C. leg
5-3-09 ECRCBA Topsfield, MA ~ 1 G.C. leg
First time on the table Saki got great reviews... he would have taken
home his first leg had one more presenter been present. His
second show, at Midnight Madness, there were over 15 BEWs presented and
he took home BOV. Saki's third show was a Mini Rex specialty in Acton, ME... he earned leg #2.
BBF's Turtle
Tortoise (VC?)
I think that we all have one of those rabbits that just noses its way into our heart... well... Turtle is the one at our rabbitry. He has run of the farm and loves to cuddle... no matter where I am in the yard, Turtle will come to find me and put his front paws on my leg until I sit on the ground for him... he then proceeds to jump into my lap and nuzzle. We have taught Turtle many tricks and he loves working his agility course... preferring praise over a carrot any day!
